Ms. Narinder Dhaliwal has served as Project Director of California’s Clean Air Project since 2005. As Project Director, she has managed a statewide project which provides training and technical assistance to agencies working on all aspects of second hand smoke within California. The project provides tribal casinos in California technical assistance to develop and adopt smoke-free work place policies. The project not only provides technical assistance, but also creates and distributes educational materials and resources for tribal entities.Ms. Dhaliwal has created public relations and community liaisons with numerous advisory boards and organizations. She is a member of the statewide second hand smoke advisory board, Resources and Education Supporting People Everywhere Controlling Tobacco (RESPECT) Advisory Board and Technical Assistance Legal Center (TALC) Community Advisory Board. She has also invested her time in facilitating monthly advisory committee meetings for Tobacco, Traffic Safety and Safe Communities programs.
