Strategic Framework, 2008- 2013

The NLTCN decided to frame its work utilizing the CDC’s Best Practices recommendations for the States. We hope that the states and the CDC will incorporate some of the NLTCN goals as theirs and include the needs of Latinos based on number of Latinos in their state and the growth of Latino youth in specific states and counties, as well as tobacco use prevalence data, specific cessation needs of Latinos and promote private and public clean indoor air policies that protect the largest number of Latinos.
